Mile 106: Forestville to Bristol, Connecticut
c.1900 ticket to Forestville or Bristol
This segment of the line is active rail, and currently operated by
the CSX Railroad. You get a lot of reward for visiting here, as the
Forestville Depot on the eastern side of Bristol presents a scene that
makes you forget what century you are in.

ticket to Forestville or Bristol. I'm getting this date from comparing
the half-ticket to other tickets on eBay with a similar format. The
legend under the railway logo probably reads something like "GOOD FOR
ONE PASSAGE TO STATION ON NEW YORK, NEW HAVEN & HARTFORD NAMED AT
THE TOP OF THIS TICKET" if the others on eBay are any clue. The ticket
would be validated with a station agent's stamp- if this one ever was
validated, it must have been on the half that is now missing.
