Mile 11: River Point, Rhode Island
A portion of the Kent and Narragansett Bay quadrangles highlight suburban stations from Washington to Oaklawn
This is a fun place to visit. The highlight is the Valley Queen Mill, now home to the Bradford Soap Factory. It is highly visible due to the trestle over the South Branch of the Pawtuxet River. There is good parking available at Horgan Elementary School. On the corner of Hay Street and Junior Street is an old New Haven Railroad Caboose.
